Acupressure, acupuncture and cupping therapies:

Acupressure is a massage-based therapy in which selected points on the body are stimulated without using needles

Acupuncture involves the use of fine needles to stimulate activity at specific points on the body

Electro-acupuncture involves applying a very low frequency electrical current to the needle/s to increase stimulation

Cupping involves the use of plastic or glass cups upon the body to stimulate the movement of energy

Moxabustion involves the use of burning chinese mugwort to warm and stimulate specific areas

A single treatment session may involve one or all of these methods.
